Of course here at Tad’s we’re famous for our chicken and dumplings, but we’re also known for our house-smoked salmon and the many salmon dishes we serve year round. That’s why we are so excited to be introducing our new pickled salmon appetizer, a new dish we have just re-introduced to our menu.
This dish is a re-introduction because it was just discovered recently on an old menu brought in by a customer. We instantly performed some of our own “restaurant archeology” and found the long lost pickled salmon recipe. Curious, we recreated the recipe and fell in love. It’s a secret recipe but we can tell you that you get: 8 ounces of salmon pickled with cloves and onions served over roasted kale. Just the treat for a summer night by the Sandy River.
This dish is the perfect combination of sweet, sour and salty. It goes great paired with all kinds of beer.
